The Cooper Consulting management team takes a very “hands-on” approach to service delivery across both outsourced projects (software development to assessments) and staff augmentation engagements. We have weekly status meetings with all project managers and our corporate project management office – giving our project managers a forum to discuss and strategize on their projects and providing a high level of visibility for corporate project sponsors and contract managers.
In addition to working directly with our project managers, each project manager is expected to work as a team with both the business and IT project managers for their projects. The evidence of this is the level of direct, honest communication among these resources and the level of trust it engenders.
Finally, for staff augmentation engagements we conduct monthly reviews with both the staff augmentation resource and the customer project manager to identify what’s working well and what might need improvement – and act on that information in a timely manner.
